Xzibit: “Fix our Economy!” Van Jones: “Ok.”
Well first of all, Xzibit’s At the Speed of Life is one of the dopest albums of all time!!! And its ill because this economy and the environment seem to be moving in the wrong way at the speed of light..but as Van says there is a solution. Some of ya’ll might have heard, ya boy Obama just wrote a 800 Billion dollar check to help turn this thing around. So listen up..THAT IS YOUR MONEY! Check out greenforall.org/recovery to learn about the money for green jobs in the bill and see the tool kit for some tips on how you, yes you, can put it to work in your communities.

DOPE! Congrats Van Jones on your new position in Obama’s Administration.
Very well well stated by the legend, and a great response from Van Jones, the economy is jacked up, and the bailout money is going to finance more corporations instead of helping the common people who the principles of this nation was founded on to protect and defend, but its seems there is some fine print where “corporations” get to sit at a different table from all of us. We need to neutralize that power structure, change our school curriculum, challenge the minds of the youth, teach them to be individual thinkers, rather then some drones that get use to the routine our capitalist, fast paced, power hungry, competitive social structure. Teach them money management, credit awareness, and create programs that cater to individuals who specialize in the arts. We need to expound on our imagination, otherwise we will fall behind the creative curve. Music is created from your imagination, so is technology, so lets massage the brain of the youth with some food that will nourish them to become responsible, law abiding citizens who help mold the world into a better place!!! Lets get it. Also, I believe that occupation of being a Teacher should be a federally funded system, where the teachers have better pay, better benefits, and a union that is separated from the state that can assist in monitoring, and analyzing how the state runs the system, and on a quarterly basis have a survey on the staff, structure, students, materials, etc. So meticulous that we make sure that our kids are getting the attention they deserve. And invest heavy in after school programs ran federally to help mentor kids through school and a career path of their choice…. invest in our kids, invest in our nations future!!!!
