Cops will beat yo’ ass no matter the area code.
I feel cops should not be allowed to work the streets without being in full uniform. Additionally, they should not be allowed to be driving unmarked cars. Unless they’re working undercover and know the person they’re pursuing.
The young man was in a situation of “fight or flight”. He was scared and ran. Doesn’t mean he was guilty of anything. I’m a 50 year old woman, and I wouldn’t stop for anyone not in uniform and not in a police vehicle. I don’t care if it’s one person showing me a badge, let alone three. What’s wrong with these officers? Three couldn’t have taken down one man?
If they were decent officer, the most they should have done is: tackled him to the ground, handcuffed him, and checked him out. Then they would have said, “Thank God we didn’t beat this guy. We have the wrong person.”
