CRIPS CONFRONT WACKA FLOCKA at VIDEO SHOOT!!!

May 18, 2010 Front Page, Music, Problems No Comments

I said it before and I’ll say it again, karma is BEEEEOOTCH!! Here are two of today’s most popular and relevant artists shooting a video, but here they are being interrupted by “Real Gangstas” who are not really feeling Waka Flocka’s swag for some reason. Maybe there was an altercation at a past video shoot or a nightclub event?! I dunno, but they had no issue with Gucci Mane and made that clear in the beginning.

Their beef was with Flame and if you’re familiar with his music, you’d expect more than a few sparks to fly. That definitely wasn’t the case and why should it be? As an artist, you shouldn’t have to prove yourself to a street thug who wants to be famous for whooping your ass.

So, my problem isn’t really with the gang affiliated goons that approached the scene but more-so Gucci and Waka standing there as if they’ve seen a ghost(which isn’t far from the truth, given the fact that the goon in green was supposedly shot and killed 2 hours after this occurrence).

It’s sorta of confusing. I say that not to discredit these artists, but to point out the obvious fact that, if you’re a smart millionaire, you’re not going to lose all that in some street war. So, why make music glorifying a lifestyle that you’re not apart of anymore? I’m assuming, as long as that type of music is made, there will always be this type of response from haters.
