Atlanta, We Have A Problem

August 16, 2010 Front Page, Problems, Vote No Comments

Today while we were out registering voters in Atlanta, GA a young man said his daughter lived in Buckhead and was safe so he wasn’t concerned about the issues facing the community.

Why do we wait until violence knocks at our door before we show empathy? Why do we wait until the sheriff comes to evict us or we lose our cush jobs that we start paying attention to the unemployment line? Atlanta is the big city of dreams but everything in the A ain’t always what it seems. You might get fooled if you come from out of town so don’t wait to start caring cause next it might be your daughter being buried underground!

Atlanta, GA home of players, entertainers, upperclass, and wealthy young African Americans who are balling outta control, making it rain, and poppin champagne, welcome 2 Black Hollywood where officer Ricky Ricky got the young guns thinking they Big Meech instead of MLK. . .Don’t let Atlanta fool you its hard in these streets but dont believe me just peep!
