Social Stream:

Tonight, at 5:45 p.m. central, the League of Young Voters and One Wisconsin Now will be hosting #ScottTalk: A State of the State Show. The show will broadcast live on Ustream and will feature expert opinion and analysis about Governor Walker’s State of the State address from several of Wisconsin’s brightest political leaders including former State Senator Jessica King, State Representative Mandela Barnes, and political consultant Bria Grant. The show will be hosted by the League of Young Voters’ Biko Baker and One Wisconsin Now’s Scott Ross. Additional guests will also be participating in tonight’s broadcast.

#ScottTalk is modeled after the League of Young Voters’ successful State of the Union watch show, #BarackTalk, which will air this year on February 12th. In the last two years, #BarackTalk has brought together many of the nation’s strongest activists and tastemakers to discuss the president’s State of the Union address in a language that is familiar to the Rising American Electorate. As a result, last year our event was watched by nearly 33,000 people on Ustream and featured Tweets from notable such as Goldie Taylor from MSNBC, Snoop Dogg and Rhymefest.
