First off, DJ Khaled’s highly-anticipated “Kiss The Ring” album is finally in stores today! When I scanned the final playlist, I came across an ode to God and I had to play it first. On “I’m So Blessed,” you have the industry’s most successful artists giving honor to the man upstairs. If you’ve been working hard and you believe in God…gotta love that!

In the past, DJ Khaled has rounded up the usual Young Money and MMG suspects such as Lil Wayne, Birdman, Ross, Ace Hood, and even T-Pain. This time around you can appreciate the diverse addition of artists to this compilation. Kendrick is on here twice and even Scarface makes an awesome appearance on “Hip Hop” with Nas. One of the most hated-but-most-played artists in the game has pulled another musical trick from up under his sleeve. But don’t expect everyone to appreciate Drake’s undying love for Aaliyah. Some say he shouldn’t touch her music since he didn’t know her personally. I believe it to be art and if he chooses to go there, let him. There’s supposedly an album in the works and Drizzy could be the producer of it alongside Timbaland and Missy. We’ll see.
