Everybody’s tripping about Common being invited to the White House for poetry night. We’re the biggest killers on the planet but rappers who express violence within their element shouldn’t be allowed in the White House? We just hunted down Osama like a mad man and then applauded Obama LIVE from ground zero but Common’s vile? WTF?!

So now I’m supposed to watch BET? Why, so the Oprah Winfrey Network won’t OWN me? Good Looking out Biko for asking the question “Do you Like Oprah’s New Network”? I personally cannot say because, well, I have bootleg cable and that station is not available. But if it makes anyone feel better, I do get BET, and I don’t watch that either.
Sheila Johnson is the co-founder of BET network and she would apparently prefer that we watch her network because it is more diverse. OWN on the other hand does not show hip-hop videos so it must not be quite diverse enough. The only way that black people can possibly be diverse is to watch rap videos all day (in my sarcastic voice). Okay, okay, I will not forget to include the Jamie Foxx show.
I dunno about you, but I spent some of my holiday vacation watching Oprah’s new network, the Oprah Winfrey Network. (Duh what else would Oprah call it!?)
I sorta had the same impression of the network as BET co-founder Sheila Johnson, who felt Oprah should do more to “expand her circle.” But what the hell do we know, right?! Oprah is a genius and you know what, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Check out more of Johnson’s thoughts here.

It’s safe to say, Nicki killed the verse as well as the video performance. Rick Ross & Jay Z just sat or stood there, which to me, supports my first theory when I heard this song; They seem out of place. In my opinion, Nicki is more of the monster and Kanye West is just outright crazy. JUMP FOR ACCESS TO THE MONSTER’S BALL!!!
In a minute, making good music is going to be the thing to do. That’s scary, right? Check out this guy Dee-1 , whom we featured a few couple months back and is still making his presence felt with this record/video, ‘Jay, 50, & Weezy’ where he’s sitting those same big ol heads down and holding them accountable. He, somewhat reminds me of the homie, Bizzle who made his mark, basically, doing the same with more of a religious angle.
