Guess Who’s Giving out Whites-Only Scholarships?

Well it ain’t Sidney Poitier!

Racism is still alive, they’re just re-concealing it, said Kanye West on his 2004 freshmen release, “College Dropout.” Well, I guess now they’re just as blatant as can be with it.

Whites Only Scholarships? The only time I wanna see a whites-only section is at the laundromat. It’s too much power and history behind that specific title. It’s almost a slap in the face, especially if they got a black man spearheading the movement. From BET to FUBU, we’ve have gotten away with catering to the black audience. I think it’s more of a display of pride in ownership than just making something exclusive.

Gun Goes Off at Elementary School

As I read an article on CNN today, “3 kindergartners wounded when gun discharges at Houston school”, my eyes were frozen to my desktop screen in horror.

The report states, the gun apparently fell out of the 6-year-old’s clothing during lunch and discharged causing the injuries. A slew of questions raced my mind: Was the student armed because he was being bullied? Did he bring the gun to show off to others to be cool? How did this child get access to a loaded firearm? How will these young students recover mentally after being shot at such an earlier age? Where are these parents and will they be held legally responsible for this incident?

How do we keep kids away from guns?

Anderson Cooper Was Attacked…What’s New!? & Top 5 Things He Should Have Been Doing Instead Of Getting Beat Up

So CNN is reporting that Anderson Cooper was punched in the head 10 times while capturing footage.

We never got that far,” he said. “We were set upon by pro-Mubarak supporters punching us in the head.” Cooper said that he and the crew tried to escape, but that the crowd only grew: “the crowd kept growing, kept throwing punches, kicks…suddenly a young man would look at you and punch you in the face.”

Anderson does his thing on CNN and everything, but he needs to think twice about getting involved in revolts. And you know what, this dude needs to keep his thrill seeking ass the eff out of international disasters too. When Dan Rather and other journalist heroes were doing their “live from the ground” reporting back in the day, the world didn’t have the gosh darn Internet. Note to Anderson…we can see that Egypt is going coo coo for democracy. Come on dude? Have you been on Twitter?!

There are hundreds of reporters on the ground…maybe CNN should just link into one of their live feeds.

So, the next time Anderson gets the urge to get all up in the mix, we suggest he take one of the following approaches instead.
