BET Awards 2011 vs WET Awards 2012

When it comes to entertaining black people on a platform where anything goes, the award would, unfortunately, have to go to WorldStarHipHop. They’re entertaining, inspiring and poisoning an entire generation at the same time. Shouldn’t they be as credible if not more than BET, to have a show acknowledging those content developers and producers? Damn, I can see it now: WorldStarHipHop Entertains Them Awards 2012, Hosted by Flava Flav w/ an opening perfomance by Odd Future featuring Lil B, ending w/ Pinky awarding Heather Hunter the Lifetime Achievement Award. SMH!

[VIDEO] Mike Epps: Everybody’s Laughing But What’s So Funny???

Mike Epp is promoting a new movie called, ‘Jumping the Broom’ and is convincing people to go see it by making his promo rounds, whether it be live television or stand-up comedy shows in your city. However, I am unconvinced. Mike Epps has never really convinced me to believe he was up there with the Jamies and Chappelles because you’re laughing at him more than you are his jokes. He’s a damn fool, I agree! #MikeIsTooDamnHigh!!!!

Below, he was recently featured on the George Lopez Show, an ignorant show that I easily ignore because I could never find George Lopez to be funny. In fact, I feel the same way about him as I do Mike Epps and he amazingly was able to pull off a sitcom. If you pay close attention and listen to how Lopez leads Mike into some of the most stereotypical subject matter, you may begin to generate similar feelings. At the same time, you might just laugh and then I ask, What’s so funny? After The Jump, Kill YaSelf!!!

Steve Harvey & Kirk Franklin Joint Tour???

I appreciate both of these brotha’s contribution to the entertainment industry but combining their celebrity could be a bit much, if you ask me. With Kirk Franklin known for his extreme interactive praise and Steve Harvey known for his over-the-top, loud mouthy, comedy routines, one can only imagine the type of experience that is to be had for those that attend. Hopefully, a good balance of music and jokes. TOUR DATES & LOCATIONS INSIDE
