The only artist that has built up this much anticipation for an album is possibly, J. Cole. This might be the most thoughtful project from an artist to date. In fact, if it isn’t, I may lose my faith in good hip-hop altogether.
This isn’t the best quality of this track but is possibly the best quality of music, period. Listen After Jump
I don’t get Charlamagne The G. This dude is heartless. While airing live with Diddy in the room, C.the.G. decides to go in on Shyne, calling him the Donkey of the Day because his music isn’t what is was years ago, obviously urging for a Puff reaction. That’s foul if you ask me. If anyone can remember just a fraction of the situation that took place a decade ago, it’s nothing to laugh about. Shyne did 10 years in prison for his boss and there were lawsuits as well as real guns involved resulting in someone being hospitalized. We used to call that loyalty. If there is any authenticity left within Diddy, he wouldn’t disrespect Shyne but remain silent even if the commentary is funny. Serious situations like these shouldn’t be taken light for a laugh. Where do we draw the line? LOOK AT DIDDY’S FACE>>>>

The homie, Rico Love sits down with Bossip & lists his top 5 emcees (among other things) and given the fact that the Milwaukee native is responsible for a host classics you’ve heard on and off the radio, his perspective should be interesting. #WheresTheLove
D.A. Wallach of Chester French, is one of the biggest supporters of Milwakuee that I know. It’s his hometown as is mine but our lives growing up here were totally different. Honestly, I think he gets off on landing at Mitchell International, Milwaukee’s premiere airport, as opposed to the cringing feeling I experience when I arrive. Basically, we had two totally different but very meaningful upbringings in this very segregated city. It was music and social media that brought us together.
Privileged or not, he’s an artist at the end of the day which, is actually, a humbling position for a dude who’s technically, a Harvard Grad w/ honors. The question is: #WhereIsTheLove for a guy+1, that puts on for his city everyday. While in the midst of encountering opportunities that most local artists couldn’t begin to imagine, he manages to be a stand-up dude with everyone he meets. I guess there aint no love in the heart of Brew City?
