You always hear about the no good, absent father. But seldomly do we hear about the ones that really wanna be a good father but can’t because they’re dealing with a crazy ex-girlfriend that happens to be the mother of their child. Well, let’s see. Beyoncé, 29, is probably the hardest working African-American woman in the music industry, and popularly known as the “Queen of Pop” amongst all demographics these days. With the wide lens on her at all times, she is constantly under the pressure to do things the right way. Though, she’s not perfect, she has once again captured the attention of music, pop culture and entertainment fans worldwide.
Much of the media coverage was convinced that Beyoncé “nonchalantly” announced her pregnancy in her bloated clothing, rubbing of the belly and the golden glow on her face. However, I would beg to differ. The announcement was blatant and very obvious. Did she have on revealing clothing on the red carpet or in her performance? Nope. Did she unusually have a ring on her left ring finger? Yes. Did she go crazy with choreography? Naw.
Those dead giveaways said it loud and clear, “I’M PREGNANT!” As a result of all the actions forementioned, some have said it was a publicity stunt and I would have to agree. It’s big news done in a big way starting with the 2011 MTV VMAs. Beyoncé’s ‘4’ album recently released and hit #1 on the Billboard 200s. Jay-Z has watched the throne, and took it over. What was left?
