Extension on Mortgage Relief for Unemployed Homeowners
The monthly unemployment numbers came out this week, revealing an increase in unemployment to 9.2 percent. June wasn’t a great month for the economy, with fewer companies hiring and smaller wages than the month before.
In light of the weak jobs report that came out this week, the Obama administration was quick to announce that they will be extending mortgage relief to unemployed homeowners. Currently, unemployed homeowners can delay being foreclosed upon by four months.
