Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl receiver, Brandon Marshall was stabbed Friday night in the Miami area and was rushed to Broward General Hospital where he remains in intensive care after having surgery early Saturday morning for a stab wound to the stomach.
Marshall’s wife , Michi Nogami-Marshall, has been arrested by the Broward Sheriff’s office on the charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. No vital organs were hit and doctors have told Brandon he should be okay in 2-3 weeks. Marshall wanted to be released today, but doctors wanted to keep him overnight to avoid any possible infections.
Marshall’s agents Kennard McGuire and Harvey Steinberg have released this statement:
“This is a very difficult time for Brandon and his family, thankfully he will make a full recovery. We simply ask that his privacy is respected.”
