#FREEBOOSIE: Mini Lil Boosie [Iviona Hatch] Speaks on her Dad’s Pending Freedom!

May 18, 2012 Front Page No Comments

There are many young girls all across the country that know how it feel to live without a father in their life due to incarceration. This morning I was looking through my Facebook news feed and stumbled across this video of Iviona Hatch excited about her “Pops” Lil Boosie’s pending release date.

Watching this video was literally like watching a Mini Lil Boosie. Be on the lookout for Iviona Hatch, she has a few songs on iTunes. She has been working hard and rocking the mic, stuntin’ like her Daddy. It felt great to see Iviona proud to know her Dad will be returning home to soon. This made me think how many young kids out there who have a parent(s) in jail or prison and how they are dealing with it. Iviona was blessed to find out that her dad is coming home because millions of children who didn’t and will not get that exciting news.  JUMP to see the video

#NewMusic: Goodie Mob “Is That You God”

May 18, 2012 Music, Politics No Comments

There are things good and bad that take place in our lives and we have no control over them. Idk about you but I was taught not to question God. At the same time, the (wo)man upstairs is so big and the happenings of this world are so mysterious, you just might get caught asking, “God, is that you?”

Thank God for the Goodie Mob! They just released this soulful and insightful record, which is one of the tracks from the highly anticipated film, ‘The Obama Effect,’ which is set to release July 13th.

[WATCH] Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre Perform Alongside Holographic 2Pac

April 16, 2012 #ThatShitCray, Music No Comments

Last night, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre brought back 2Pac, who was literally in rare form. I would’ve loved to have been there to personally witness the reaction of the Coachella attendees when Pac entered the stage, greeting the thousands upon thousands of patrons that frequent this event each year.

It could easily have freaked out a bunch of people if they weren’t sober. I’m pretty sure someone still believes that he performed last night. However, there was very expensive technology being used to produce such a high quality 3D image. At the same time, even though we know we were watching a holographic image, it just felt good to bring back 2Pac in good spirits..#PunIntended

January 4, 2012 milwaukee, Problems No Comments

I hate to dwell on the past, especially in the brand new year but the recent incident that took place in Milwaukee costing the life of Andrew Damone Tyler, reminds me of the death of aspiring producer and artist, Koo Laid & LaLa Brown. Although, their assailant remains unknown, the scenario involves the production of music, in which a ton of residents in Milwaukee partake in.
