Political Quick Hits: July 29th Edition

Here’s your weekly quick look at few developing stories in the political arena:

  • Debt Ceiling: On Tuesday President Obama addressed the nation and called for a compromise and for Americans to put pressure on their elected officials to get a deal done before the August 2nd deadline. Another Pew Research Study released Tuesday shows that more Americans (68 percent) want a compromise to get a deal done, which is up 13 percent since April. Only 23 percent say lawmakers should stand by their principles and not compromise. Also, the House of Representatives will remain in session Saturday and Sunday while Congress continues to debate a solution to the debt ceiling issue.

Men are chastised for not being promiscuous enough while women are expected to be freaky while avoiding being skanky.
