Bun B feels that he should be a part of this because their are not enough celebrities and hip-hop artists that talk about the issues we have in America. So, my homie Blizz and I have been traveling across the country promoting the Census 2010 for the last month, month and a half. And I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty excited about the amount of new faces that’ll be identified in this new count. As a matter of fact, they’re already counting right now and Montana, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Missouri are the top 5 states that have participated so far. Be counted, it’s never cliche.
Above, is a clip that we developed while walking through MacGregor Park in Houston, TX. We caught up with a very informed middle-school aged young adult and quizzed him right on the spot. Shouts out to Pin Oak Middle School for spreading awareness to tha youngstas!!
As early as last week, I’ve been getting notified about the early recipients of Census forms. This should be an exciting time for everyone because it’s an opportunity for us all to become civically engaged without leaving the confines of the crib. Honestly, I don’t care how it’s done…you can lay down and complete this form…as long as you STAND UP and BE COUNTED and make sure everyone in your household is accounted for!!!
