Today is a historic day for American television, right up there with the Beatles on Ed Sullivan and the first time Dave Chappelle channeled Rick James.

After seventy years of analog service, the American television industry is set to switch off their analog transmitters for crisp, ultra-nerdy digital perfection.

Many people anticipate a better quality viewing experience.  Unfortunately, thousands and thousands of Americans are completely unprepared for the switch and, throughout today, will watch the weather change on their TV sets and I’m talking snow, snow, snow.
